Strong police presence used to detain South Carolina man

A York County jury recently found a 27-year-old man guilty of drug possession, and the judge in the case sentenced the man to three years in prison. On May 29, police took the 27-year-old Rock Hill man into police custody with the assistance of a 12-member Special Weapons and Tactics team.

South Carolina individuals detained after investigation

The Lexington County sheriff announced the detainment of three individuals as a result of an undercover investigation in a news release on June 10. The sheriff reported that two men, ages 53 and 27, and one woman, age 20, were taken into custody on drug-related charges after raids on the men's homes. All three suspects are residents of Lexington County.

Drug charges for 4 after searches in South Carolina

Sheriff's deputies in Berkeley County report that they have detained four suspects on drug charges after executing search warrants in Summerville and Goose Creek. Additional warrants have also been issued for two other men after searches in Summerville and Hanahan yielded discoveries of both heroin and marijuana, respectively. Reports say that undercover agents were able to make controlled purchases at one of the homes.

5 charged with making meth in South Carolina home

Five people were detained and charged with trying to make methamphetamine after a May 22 investigation of their home. The Berkeley County Sheriff's Office says that investigators discovered several items consistent with making the drug when they searched the home.
