South Carolina residents may be interested to learn about drug charges that were filed against two men for allegedly smoking heroin in a Chuck E. Cheese restaurant. A customer at a Chuck E. Cheese in Costa Mesa, California reported witnessing the 27 and 28-year-old men getting high in a bathroom stall on July 8. According to police, the two men were arrested on drug charges after they were observed in the process of smoking heroin.
Police allege that the two accused men visited the family-friendly pizza restaurant with the intention of meeting up with a drug supplier. Police are unaware of possible drug sales that may have taken place at the establishment. During the incident, police allege that both men were under the influence and found to be in possession of a small amount of heroin and drug paraphernalia.
The 28-year-old man was booked for felony possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor under the influence of a controlled substance. He was held on $20,000 bail and released on July 10 after posting bail. The 27-year-old man was charged with misdemeanor under the influence of a controlled substance and released after signing a written promise to appear at his scheduled court date.
